In our line of work every job presents it’s own challenges and rarely are any two jobs the same, but knowing a few ‘tricks of the trade’ can help prevent expensive and time consuming overruns.
Nick has many years experience in the trade here at J&N Stone, and he can answer some common questions and offer some great advice.
For us to provide you with an accurate quote for a project the key information we need includes:
Dimensions – A plan of the layout, measurements and even a photograph of the space.
Material – Do you require natural stone or reconstituted material?
Location – Is the project indoor or outdoor? Wet or dry area?
Edges – Which edge detail would you prefer?
Appliances – Does the project include items such as undermount sinks?
While there is a huge variety of colours and patterns available in both natural and manufactured product, natural stone (ie marble, granite etc) provides a classic look and uniqueness that is umatched. Manufactured product (sometimes called engineered stone) such as Caessarstone, Quantum Quartz offer an amazing range of products which are generally more durable and stain resistant than natural stone, making them extremely desirable for high work areas.
There is a extensive range of products available and we are happy to help you out with advice on choosing the right stone for your project. We carry a number of samples of manufactured stone and work in conjunction with a number of major stone suppliers who you can visit to choose the perfect stone for you. (Remember when choosing natural stone that no two pieces of stone are exactly the same.) Once you have decided on the material we arrange delivery, processing and installation.
